About maduvha madima

At the age of 4 Maduvha was already performing for thousands of crowds in Venda. Her uncle and parents formed part of the gospel group Echo where curtain raised for the group. Maduvha worked with so many Artists as their backing vocalist and as a featured Artist exploring different genres of music such as light jazz genre, house music,kwaito and gospel working with artists such as  Judith Sephuma, ,Concord Nkabinde, Ernie Smith, Thembi Seete, Mandla “Spikiri” Mofokeng, DJ Dennis Ferrey, Mafikizolo, Lebo M for Lion King, Gaz’ Lam (soundtrack) and in some excellent and well-known songs Zola’s Ex-Girlfriend, Revolution’s Light of My Life and Matsohong. In the gospel genre she backed Vicky Vilakazi, Margaret Motsage, Itani Madima, Jabu Hlongwane, Vuyo Mokoena, Mthunzi Namba, Back To God, Redeemed and, of course Joyous Celebration and was notable for her outstanding solo on the gospel ensemble Joyous Celebration 6 singing lead vocals on the song Under The Blood. The avid music fans saw Maduvha successfully stand-in for Nhlanhla Nciza during her maternity at the height of the fame of the smashing  Afro-pop group Mafikizolo.
Maduvha released her debut album simply titled “MADUVHA” in 2006. The album was well received by the general public enjoying songs such as Light Of My Life, U Lavi Wam, and the Venda jazz track Fhumulani. This album enlarged her territory opening doors for her to showcase on international platforms all over the world. The album was nominated for 3 SAMA awards in 2007 for Best new-comer, best urban pop and for best female artist.
Her second solo album AFRICA simply titled is book-ended by three urban Vendasongs, the captivatingly percussive Kondelelani[Persevere], a song that inspires listeners to persevere through trials, ‘Ndi a Ni Funa’(I love you) has become a national hit on radios and the gospel tune Mulweli. The title track Africa featured a Senegalese artist Nomukounda. This duet is a world song urging Africans to be united.” Banane Mikulungwane is reminiscent to the people of Mozambique as their late President Samora Machel was well known for rendering the song. The album was nominated at the SAMA awards in 2010 for best Afro pop Album. After a brief hiatus, the talented vocalist released her third album Your Mercy in 2014 which won best video at the Crown Gospel awards. This album was also nominated at the International Christian film festival for best music video. Her latest project Tshedza Tshanga remains her unsurpassed work thus far showcasing her singing and producing ability coupled with maturity, this is evident in the choice of legends featured on the project such as Tsepo Tshola and Peter Mokoena just to name a few.                                                            
Maduvha is a versatile performer also known for her acting ability. The general public, familiar with the actress on the SABC 2 current hit TV series Muvhango as Queen Vele, despite beingintroduced to the public via the TV youth drama series on SABC 1 Gaz’ Lam 2 & 3 back playing herself as a musician Maduvha. Added to that are roles on feature films Max & Mona , Paradise Stop and Amukelani. She is currently shooting the telenovela Ring of Lies on Mzansi Magic.
 Maduvha has a passion for women and children and carries a powerful message of encouragement to Communities, Churches and Corporates around the world.
